about

Kelsey Anne Heimerman is a classically trained oil painter whose visionary approach transforms painting into a language of limitless possibility. Her work is distinguished by innovation, depth and a dedication to exploring the intersections between history, culture and contemporary expression. In addition to her painting practice , she is a poet, photographer and dabbles in porcelain sculpture.

Her fervent dedication to push the boundaries of contemporary art has cultivated a fire that continues to fuel her prolific portfolio. For over 15 years Heimerman has pursued immersive artistic experiences across borders and oceans, living and working in diverse cultures to study both the mysteries of the ancient past and the pulse of modern life. These adventures continually inform her practice, as she returns home to her Texas roots, creating reflections of our shared human connections.

Her art has an overall theme of positivity, global representation and honor towards the female figure. Committed to authenticity and longevity, Heimerman has worked exclusively with materials made to withstand the test of time, using only gold, oil paints, wood and canvas… the art embodies the pursuit of embracing a visionary world, where all cultures are equally illuminated.

Heimerman owns her studio space in Dallas, Texas in the iconic Design District and is an advocate for women creating independent lives that support their creative dreams. She often creates projects that pour back into communities by curating unique events that bring the best creative minds around her to interact directly with the public through music, art and poetry. She is progressive and forward thinking, while also holding onto the beautiful things of the past that took time, intention and have a deeply meaningful quality to them. Her art exists, where these two places merge.
